WIZBL to introduce ‘WIZBLpay’ at CES 2019
| Recognized as a new game changer that will change the paradigm of the Blockchain platform
WIZBL Co., Ltd., a Blockchain company, announced on the 16th that it introduced ” WIZBLpay,” a blockchain technology-based payment system, at the world’s largest consumer electronics and IT exhibition “CES 2019” held in Las Vegas for four days from January 8.
WIZBL has been focusing on commercialization since launching the Mainnet with 1 million TPS per second (transaction volume per second) in September 2017, and demonstrated for the first time at CES 2019 that can be used in real life like Samsung Pay and Kakao Pay.
Wizble Pay is a method of transferring money and payment using QR code or wallet address. While Visa Card is 24000TPS, problems with processing speed such as Bitcoin 7TPS and E-Room 15TPS were the biggest obstacles to the commercialization of blockchain payment systems.
By developing a Mainnet that can handle 1 million cases per second, WIZBL has set the stage for accelerating the commercialization of Blockchain payment systems that can be traded in real time.
“We are discussing to expand the number of stores that can be paid in Singapore and other regions in time for the official launch in March,” said CEO Moon Young-chul. “It is also possible to charge virtual currency or exchange it into legal currency such as dollars and won.”
At the CES, WIZBL was recognized as the only Korean company to change the paradigm of the Blockchain platform through the release of its own Blockchain real-time ecosystem (BRTE) and Blockchain payment system WIZBLpay.”
“We received a lot of attention from major Blockchain companies as well as domestic conglomerates,” CEO Yoo Oh-soo said. “We felt that the Blockchain payment system was a blue ocean, and this was an opportunity to see the potential of our technology again.”
